Heimwee
Made in the Netherlands, from 1991 to 1999, this body of work centers on the notion of memory, home, longing and belonging. Amsterdam’s history as a hub for Europeans emigrating to the US and Australia in the early 20th Century by ship is the genesis for much of this work.
